Dr. Carole Azzam

Dr. Carole Azzam is a Belgium Board Certified Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeon.

Dr. Carole Azzam was born in the city of Liège in Belgium, where she grew up and studied medicine at the University of Liège. She speaks English and French.

During her senior year, Dr. Carole was accepted at the prestigious Harvard Medical School in Boston, and undertook surgery internships.

Dr. Carole’s surgical training began with three years of general surgery (gastrointestinal, vascular and orthopaedic surgeries), followed by three years of plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery, surgery for burns, hand surgery, and microsurgery. 

After her assistantship, she was fortunate to work for Professor Albert De Mey, in the Brugmann Hospital, Brussels, Belgium, renowned for breast surgery.

Dr. Carole Azzam is a passionate learner and always eager to diversify and improve her techniques, she frequently traveled to rub elbows with specialists from around the world: Paris, New York, Atlanta, Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Curitiba, San Francisco.

As plastic surgery is always changing, it is essential to keep abreast of new techniques and studies.
